Job Description: We are seeking a talented and creative Animator to join our team in New York. As an Animator, you will be responsible for bringing ideas and concepts to life through various forms of animation. Your role will involve collaborating with a team of artists, designers, and creative professionals to create visually stunning and engaging animations for a range of projects. Key Responsibilities: Animation Production: Create high-quality 2D or 3D animations using industry-standard software and tools. Develop storyboards, character designs, and visual assets to bring concepts to life. Concept Development: Collaborate with the creative team to develop and refine animation concepts, ensuring they align with project objectives and client requirements. Translate ideas and scripts into captivating visual narratives. Character Animation: Bring characters to life through expressive and fluid animations. Create realistic movements, emotions, and interactions to enhance storytelling and engage audiences. Motion Graphics: Design and animate visually appealing motion graphics, including titles, transitions, and special effects. Utilize visual effects and compositing techniques to enhance the overall aesthetic of animations. Collaboration and Feedback: Work closely with other animators, designers, and creative professionals to ensure a cohesive visual style and consistent quality across projects. Incorporate feedback and iterate on animations to achieve the desired artistic vision. Technical Skills: Stay updated with the latest animation techniques, software, and tools. Apply technical knowledge and expertise to optimize animation workflows and deliver high-quality results efficiently. Project Management: Manage and prioritize animation tasks within project timelines. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on animations to ensure they meet project requirements, technical specifications, and industry standards. Ensure animations are optimized for various platforms and devices.
Job Requirement: Requirements: Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Autodesk Maya, or similar tools. Strong artistic and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and visual aesthetics. Experience in character animation, including lip-syncing, body movements, and facial expressions. Knowledge of 2D and 3D animation techniques, principles, and best practices. Portfolio showcasing a range of animation work and demonstrating creativity and technical proficiency. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, taking and giving constructive feedback. Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines. Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members. Bachelor's degree in Animation, Digital Arts, or a related field (preferred). Experience in the creative industry, such as advertising, film, or gaming, is a plus.
