Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Industrial Electrician to join our manufacturing facility in Chicago. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within an industrial setting. Your duties will include troubleshooting electrical faults, reading blueprints and schematics, and ensuring all systems are in compliance with safety and operational standards. You will play a critical role in supporting production operations by minimizing electrical downtime and ensuring safe, efficient power distribution throughout the facility. This position offers a dynamic work environment, technical challenges, and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge industrial systems.

Job Requirement:

Requirements:
To qualify for the role of Industrial Electrician in Chicago’s manufacturing sector, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Completion of a formal electrician apprenticeship or equivalent experience

  • Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, wiring diagrams, and control systems

  • Ability to troubleshoot high and low-voltage systems

  • Familiarity with PLCs, motors, transformers, and circuit breakers

  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team

  • Commitment to safety protocols and preventive maintenance
    A journeyman electrician license or equivalent certification is preferred. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
