Job Description:

As a Automation Engineer based in Antwerp, you will be responsible for executing essential functions within the electrical and electronics industry. You will contribute to designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing complex systems that support both industrial and consumer-facing technologies. This role requires hands-on and analytical capabilities to troubleshoot problems, enhance performance, and ensure operational safety and compliance with EU and Belgium-specific regulations. The Automation Engineer works closely with engineers, project managers, and cross-disciplinary teams to ensure quality deliverables are achieved. The position may include equipment assembly, testing, validation, documentation, or installation responsibilities, depending on the focus area. Your role may also include preparing technical reports, performing risk assessments, or supporting infrastructure upgrades. The ability to manage schedules, ensure cost control, and collaborate across teams is vital to ensure project success. This role is a critical contributor in ensuring that all systems meet high performance and sustainability standards within Belgium’s dynamic industrial and technological sectors.

Job Requirement:

• Proficiency with testing tools, calibration, and diagnostics

• Familiarity with international and EU safety regulations

• Effective communicator in cross-functional engineering teams

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints

• Comfortable with system-level troubleshooting and integration

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or related field

• 4–5 years of hands-on industry experience required

• Knowledge of PCB layout is highly preferred
