Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer to join our team in Ottawa, Canada. As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge AI solutions that drive advancements in the IT and Telecommunication industry. Key Responsibilities: AI Solution Development: Design, develop, and deploy AI models and algorithms to solve complex problems in the IT and Telecommunication industry. Apply state-of-the-art techniques in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing to extract insights and drive business value. Data Processing and Analysis: Clean, preprocess, and transform large datasets to ensure data quality and relevance for AI tasks. Conduct exploratory data analysis to gain insights and identify patterns or trends that inform AI model development. Model Training and Evaluation: Train and fine-tune AI models using various frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and optimize models to achieve desired accuracy and efficiency. Algorithm Research and Implementation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI research and techniques. Implement and experiment with novel algorithms and approaches to improve model performance and address unique challenges in the industry.
Job Requirement: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. PhD preferred. Strong experience in developing and implementing AI models and algorithms, preferably in the IT or Telecommunication industry. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, as well as AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing techniques. Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization. Familiarity with big data processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and propose innovative AI solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment and communicate AI concepts to diverse stakeholders.
