Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and creative Augmented Reality (AR) Developer to join our team in Kitchener, Canada. As an AR Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative AR applications and solutions within the IT and Telecommunication industry. Key Responsibilities: AR Application Development: Design and develop interactive and immersive AR applications for various platforms, including mobile devices and wearable devices. Utilize AR development frameworks, such as ARKit, ARCore, or Vuforia, to create engaging user experiences. 3D Modelling and Animation: Create and optimize 3D models and animations for use in AR applications. Collaborate with designers and artists to develop realistic and visually appealing AR content. AR Tracking and Recognition: Implement tracking and recognition systems to accurately overlay virtual content onto the real world. Utilize marker-based tracking, image recognition, or sensor-based tracking techniques to ensure precise AR experiences. User Interface (UI) Design: Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for AR applications. Focus on creating seamless interactions and user guidance within the AR environment. Integration and Interoperability: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AR solutions into existing IT and Telecommunication systems. Ensure compatibility and interoperability with other technologies and platforms. Testing and Optimization: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of AR applications to ensure high performance and stability. Optimize applications for different devices and platforms to deliver optimal user experiences. Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AR technology. Evaluate and experiment with new tools, frameworks, and techniques to enhance our AR capabilities and drive innovation within the organization.

Job Requirement: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field. Strong experience in developing AR applications, preferably within the IT or Telecommunication industry. Proficiency in AR development frameworks and tools, such as ARKit, ARCore, or Vuforia. Solid understanding of 3D modelling and animation, with experience using software such as Blender, Maya, or Unity. Knowledge of AR tracking and recognition techniques, including marker-based tracking, image recognition, or sensor-based tracking. Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and best practices for AR applications. Experience with mobile app development and familiarity with programming languages such as C#, Java, or Swift. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize AR applications. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
