Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to maintain a clean and polished appearance. Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and elevators. Facility Upkeep: Monitor and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed in the building. Assist with minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and repairing fixtures. Ensure that cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stocked. Follow established procedures for the safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals. Safety and Security: Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the appropriate personnel. Lock and secure doors and windows at the end of the day or during non-operational hours. Monitor the premises for any suspicious activities and report them to the appropriate authorities. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding work progress, issues, and supplies needed. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient coordination of cleaning and maintenance activities. Provide assistance and support to other team members as needed.
Job Requirement: Requirements: Previous experience as a janitor or in a similar cleaning role is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in building maintenance. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Attention to detail and thoroughness in carrying out cleaning tasks.
