Job Description: Crop Farm Technician – Heraklion (Agriculture and Fisheries Industry)
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Crop Farm Technician to support crop production operations at our farm in Heraklion. This role involves hands-on work in planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops, as well as monitoring plant health and maintaining farming equipment and infrastructure.
The Crop Farm Technician will assist in implementing crop management plans, conducting soil and plant health assessments, applying fertilizers and pesticides under guidance, and recording data on crop performance and field conditions. The technician will also help install and manage irrigation systems, operate farm machinery, and assist in post-harvest processing and storage.
The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable about agricultural practices and comfortable working outdoors in a physically demanding environment. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical instructions related to crop care and farm procedures.
