We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Concessions Operations Specialist to manage and support daily operations of commercial concessions at Florence Airport. This role focuses on ensuring the effective performance, compliance, and presentation of food & beverage, retail, and service outlets within the terminal, contributing to a seamless passenger experience and maximizing non-aeronautical revenue.
Key responsibilities include monitoring tenant operations, ensuring adherence to service standards, assisting in compliance with lease agreements, and coordinating operational support between concessionaires and airport departments. The specialist will conduct regular inspections, track performance metrics, address operational issues, and support promotional and seasonal initiatives. This role also contributes to tenant onboarding and coordination of space planning activities.
The ideal candidate will have a background in retail or hospitality operations within an airport or high-volume commercial environment. Knowledge of ENAC regulations, health and safety compliance, and customer service excellence is essential. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required for managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Candidates for the Concessions Operations Specialist role must hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Retail Operations, or a related field. A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in commercial or retail operations—preferably within an airport, transportation hub, or high-traffic hospitality setting—is required.
Applicants must have a working knowledge of concession agreements, lease compliance, and service-level standards. Familiarity with ENAC regulations, food safety standards, and airport retail guidelines is essential. Experience in conducting vendor audits, analyzing performance data, and supporting commercial initiatives is expected.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with point-of-sale systems or retail analytics platforms is preferred. Fluency in both Italian and English is mandatory.
