Job Description:

Job Title: Route Network Strategy Analyst
Location: Rome, Italy
Industry: Aviation & Airport Management

Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic and data-oriented Route Network Strategy Analyst to support the development and optimization of air service routes at Rome’s airport. This role is vital to strengthening the airport's competitive position by identifying new route opportunities, enhancing existing airline partnerships, and supporting long-term traffic growth through data-driven network planning.

Key responsibilities include conducting market and traffic analyses, forecasting passenger demand, evaluating airline capacity trends, and monitoring route profitability. The analyst will support air service development initiatives by preparing business cases, generating route performance models, and assisting in stakeholder presentations for airlines, tourism boards, and government entities.

The role involves close collaboration with airline marketing, commercial development, finance, and regulatory teams to align route strategy with the airport’s broader commercial and operational goals. The analyst will also contribute to strategic planning documents and assess the impact of market shifts, competitive activity, and regulatory changes on network development.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and quantitative skills, a sound understanding of the global aviation market, and proficiency in route planning tools and datasets such as MIDT, OAG, and Sabre. This role is key in shaping Rome’s future connectivity and expanding its role in the European and global air transport network.
