Job Description: As a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), you will play a critical role in enhancing patient care within a specific area of clinical expertise. You will work closely with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide advanced nursing care, lead clinical initiatives, and promote evidence-based practice. Your role will involve direct patient care, consulting with other healthcare professionals, and participating in the development and implementation of care plans. You will also be involved in education, research, and policy development to improve patient outcomes and nursing practices.
Job Requirement: Education: Master’s degree in Nursing (Clinical Nurse Specialist program) or equivalent. Licensing: Valid Dutch nursing license and certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS). Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a specialized area relevant to the CNS role. Skills: Advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, strong leadership and mentorship abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of evidence-based practices, clinical guidelines, and healthcare regulations in the Netherlands.
