We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Ceramic Tile Setter to join our construction team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for laying and installing ceramic tiles on floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in residential, commercial, and public buildings. This role is vital for delivering high-quality finishes and ensuring durability, alignment, and aesthetic appeal in construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying waterproofing or adhesive materials.
Measure and mark surfaces to plan tile layout accurately.
Cut tiles to specific shapes and sizes using hand tools or tile-cutting equipment.
Install ceramic tiles using adhesives, grout, and spacers to ensure even spacing and alignment.
Apply grout between tiles and clean excess materials from surfaces.
Repair or replace broken or damaged tiles as needed.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Coordinate with site supervisors, architects, and other trades to meet design specifications and deadlines.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in ceramic tile installation.
Skilled in using tile-cutting tools, levels, and measurement instruments.
Ability to read layout plans or blueprints.
Physically fit and capable of working on various surfaces.
Basic communication in English or Arabic preferred.
