Your duties will include preparing patients for EKG tests, explaining procedures to ensure comfort, and positioning the EKG machine electrodes correctly on patients. You will also be responsible for monitoring the equipment during the procedure, ensuring that the test results are recorded accurately, and documenting the findings for review by healthcare providers. Additionally, you will maintain the EKG equipment, ensure it is in proper working order, and follow infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
