Job Description:
The Drilling Data Technician based in Woodlands is a key contributor in Singapore's Energy & Utilities sector. This role is responsible for supporting infrastructure projects and energy operations through hands-on technical expertise, project coordination, and adherence to local environmental and safety regulations. The Drilling Data Technician works with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure reliable, sustainable, and efficient service delivery. Responsibilities may include inspecting systems, optimizing energy usage, maintaining industrial or municipal equipment, and implementing compliance procedures. Candidates in this role will engage with technology-driven operations involving smart grid systems, power distribution, utility mapping, or energy consumption analysis. Daily activities also require timely data collection, analysis of operational metrics, and submission of detailed technical reports. The position often serves as a liaison between engineering teams, project stakeholders, and governmental bodies. Success in this role depends on the individual’s technical knowledge, adaptability in evolving industrial environments, and familiarity with Singapore’s energy policies and urban development goals. The Drilling Data Technician will help future-proof infrastructure systems while contributing to national sustainability and green energy targets.
Job Requirement:
• Familiarity with green energy and sustainability initiatives
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities
• Attention to detail and adherence to documentation protocols
• Strong knowledge of industry safety and compliance standards
• Proficiency in energy monitoring and data analysis tools
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Energy & Utilities sector
• Certification in ISO 50001 is preferred
• Experience with automated monitoring systems is advantageous
