Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Drilling Engineer to join our team in Yishun, Singapore. As a Drilling Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing drilling operations for energy and utility projects. Your role will involve conducting feasibility studies, analyzing data, and ensuring the efficiency and safety of drilling operations. Responsibilities: Plan and design drilling programs and strategies based on project requirements and objectives. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to determine the viability of drilling operations. Analyze geological data and survey reports to identify potential drilling locations. Develop drilling schedules, budgets, and timelines. Coordinate with geologists, engineers, and contractors to optimize drilling processes. Select and recommend appropriate drilling equipment and technologies. Monitor and control drilling operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve drilling issues and challenges. Evaluate drilling performance and make recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with environmental and safety teams to implement proper waste management and mitigation measures. Keep abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in drilling operations. Maintain accurate documentation and records of drilling activities, including reports and logs.
Job Requirement: Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Drilling Engineer, preferably in the energy and utilities industry. Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and processes. Familiarity with drilling software and simulation tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work. Strong project management and organizational skills. Willingness to travel to remote drilling sites if required.
