Job Description:
We are hiring an Automotive Battery Maintenance Technician to support our electrical service team in Madrid. In this role, you will inspect, test, and maintain vehicle battery systems to ensure reliable power supply and optimal performance. Your work will focus on preventing breakdowns and extending battery life for conventional and hybrid vehicles.
You will handle battery replacements, perform charging diagnostics, and monitor voltage levels using specialized tools. Attention to battery safety protocols, corrosion prevention, and terminal maintenance are key aspects of this position. You will also maintain service logs and assist with customer queries regarding battery health.
Job Requirement:
Candidates should have a diploma or certificate in automotive electrical systems. A minimum of one year’s experience working with vehicle batteries is preferred. Familiarity with multimeters, battery testers, and charging stations is essential.
You must be capable of identifying faulty cells, interpreting battery performance data, and performing installations safely. Attention to detail, time management, and knowledge of safety procedures around chemical components are crucial. Experience with hybrid battery packs is an added advantage.
