Job Description:
We are hiring an Industrial Scaffolding Technician in Barcelona to assemble and maintain scaffolding structures in large industrial facilities, surface mine areas, and plant zones. Daily responsibilities include reviewing site plans, erecting access platforms, and ensuring safe working decks for maintenance crews or inspectors. You will also inspect scaffolding daily, replace worn components, and coordinate dismantling once tasks are complete.
Your role supports maintenance, structure work, or inspections by enabling reliable elevated access. You’ll work with both mechanical and construction teams to ensure seamless workflow and safeguard workers operating at height.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must have certification in scaffolding trade, preferably with experience in industrial or plant settings. Prior record of erecting system or tube & clamp scaffolding under height safety regions is required. You should be competent in load calculations, bracing, securing guardrails, and material handling. Understanding of work permits, elevated safety signage, and tool tethering systems is needed. Candidates must be reliable, physically capable of lifting tubes and boards, and comfortable working at heights. Demonstrable adherence to OSHA/EU fall protection standards and ability to conduct peer inspections is essential.
