Job Description: We are looking for skilled and experienced Welders and Solderers to join our Shipbuilding & Ship Machinery team in Stockholm, Sweden. As a Welder and Solderer, you will play a crucial role in assembling and joining metal components to construct ships and ship machinery, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards. Responsibilities: Welding and Soldering: Perform welding and soldering operations to join metal components according to specifications and technical drawings. Metal Preparation: Prepare metal surfaces for welding or soldering by cleaning, grinding, and fitting components together. Welding Techniques: Utilize various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and ARC, to achieve strong and precise welds. Quality Control: Inspect welded and soldered joints for quality, accuracy, and adherence to engineering standards. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with hot metals and welding equipment. Material Handling: Handle and store welding materials and equipment safely and efficiently. Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand welding requirements and specifications. Team Collaboration: Work closely with shipbuilding teams and other trades to ensure seamless integration of welded components.

Job Requirement: Requirements: Education and Experience: Relevant technical training or certifications in welding and soldering. Prior experience in shipbuilding or related industries is advantageous. Welding Skills: Proficiency in various welding techniques and the ability to produce strong and reliable welds. Soldering Expertise: Knowledge and experience in soldering techniques, ensuring secure connections for electrical components. Safety Consciousness: A strong commitment to following safety procedures and ensuring a safe working environment. Blueprint Reading: Familiarity with reading technical drawings and blueprints to execute precise welding and soldering operations. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as welding in various positions and working in confined spaces. Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to welding and soldering operations, ensuring accuracy and high-quality work. Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with shipbuilding teams and other trades to achieve shared shipbuilding goals.
