Job Description: Asphalt Paver Machine Operator – Basel
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Asphalt Paver Machine Operator to join our road construction team in Basel, supporting large-scale infrastructure and surface paving projects within the Construction & Building Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating asphalt paving machinery to apply hot mix asphalt to roads, parking lots, and other surfaces in a smooth, even, and efficient manner.
As an Asphalt Paver Machine Operator, your primary duties include maneuvering and controlling the paver machine, adjusting screed settings, monitoring material levels, and ensuring consistent compaction and thickness across the paved surface. You will collaborate closely with crew members including dump truck drivers, roller operators, and site supervisors to maintain accurate alignment and surface grade according to project specifications.
You will also be expected to inspect machinery before use, perform routine maintenance, report mechanical issues, and ensure proper cleaning after daily operations. Adherence to safety protocols and traffic management guidelines is essential, especially in high-traffic urban areas like Basel.
