The CNC Milling Machine Operator in Bern is responsible for producing complex automotive parts and components using advanced CNC milling machines. The role requires setup, operation, and maintenance of 3-axis and 5-axis milling machines to execute machining programs with precision and efficiency. You will be required to interpret detailed CAD drawings and technical specifications, load materials, set up tools and fixtures, and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate machining. The operator must perform first-off inspections and maintain strict dimensional tolerances throughout the production run. This position also involves tool wear monitoring, quality documentation, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives. The role demands excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to react quickly to any inconsistencies in machine operation or part dimensions. You will be expected to maintain a safe working environment and adhere to the company’s quality and production standards. This role is essential in supporting automotive manufacturing lines with high-precision parts.
