Job Description:
As a MIG Welder in Zurich, you will be responsible for welding automotive components using Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding techniques. Your primary tasks include fabricating, assembling, and repairing vehicle frames, panels, brackets, and other metal structures based on technical drawings and production specifications. This role requires the use of welding equipment, power tools, grinders, and measurement instruments to ensure welds are precise, durable, and meet automotive safety standards. You’ll inspect materials for defects, prepare metal surfaces by cleaning or grinding, and follow strict welding procedures to maintain structural integrity. The job involves working with various metals such as steel and aluminum, in both manual and semi-automated welding stations. You will also contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and maintaining high-quality production standards. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that requires precision, consistency, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
