Job Description: Summary: The Counsellor plays a crucial role in providing mental health support and guidance to students in Dubai educational institutions. They offer counseling services to help students navigate personal, social, and emotional challenges, ensuring their well-being and academic success. The counsellor collaborates with students, parents, and teachers to create a supportive environment and address mental health concerns. Strong counseling skills, empathy, and a passion for supporting students' mental health are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students. Assess students' mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. Assist students in managing stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges. Address social and behavioral issues that may affect students' well-being and academic progress. Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students' mental health needs. Conduct risk assessments and provide intervention in crisis situations. Facilitate workshops and training sessions on mental health topics. Provide referrals to external agencies and resources when necessary. Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions. Stay updated with best practices and research in the field of counseling. Promote mental health awareness and wellness initiatives within the school community. Work closely with the school's support team, including psychologists and educators.

Job Requirement: Requirements: Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. Valid license or certification in counseling or psychology. Proven experience in counseling or mental health support, preferably in an educational setting. Strong counseling and interpersonal skills. Empathy and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. Knowledge of counseling techniques and therapeutic interventions. Understanding of child and adolescent development. Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards. Collaboration skills to work with students, parents, and teachers. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
