Job Description: As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Your duties will include interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting wood, assembling and installing frameworks, and ensuring that all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards. You may work on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
Job Requirement: Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry or a related field. Experience: Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a solid understanding of carpentry techniques and tools. Skills: Proficiency in using hand and power tools, excellent attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills. Certifications: Health and Safety certification (such as CSCS card) is often required. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions. Language: Fluent in English.
