Job Description:
The Regulatory Compliance Officer in AI Ahmadi ensures that the financial institution or insurance company adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This includes monitoring regulatory changes, developing compliance strategies, and conducting periodic assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
The officer collaborates with departments such as legal, risk, operations, and internal audit to implement controls and ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML), KYC, data protection, and capital adequacy regulations. Responsibilities also include preparing reports for regulators, managing internal compliance programs, and leading employee training initiatives on regulatory obligations.
A key part of the job is fostering a compliance-aware culture, ensuring the company maintains its license to operate while avoiding penalties or reputational damage.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CRCM, ICA, CAMS) is highly preferred.
5–8 years of experience in regulatory compliance in banking, insurance, or financial services.
Deep understanding of local and international financial regulations (e.g., FATF, Basel III, GDPR).
Proven experience conducting regulatory reviews and drafting compliance reports.
Proficient in compliance software and risk assessment tools.
Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory documents and translate them into actionable compliance policies.
