We are seeking a dynamic and creative Communications and Outreach Officer to join our nonprofit organization based in Paris, France. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing communication strategies that enhance the visibility, engagement, and impact of our mission-driven work.
Key responsibilities include creating and managing content for social media, newsletters, websites, and press releases; organizing public events and outreach campaigns; coordinating with media and community partners; and supporting internal communications. The Communications and Outreach Officer will work closely with program and fundraising teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.
The ideal candidate should have excellent writing and storytelling skills, a strong understanding of digital communications, and a passion for social or humanitarian causes. Experience in the nonprofit or NGO sector is highly desirable.
Fluency in French is required; strong English skills are a plus for international communication. Proficiency in design and communication tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, Mailchimp, and social media platforms is expected.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is an asset.
Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in communications, outreach, or public relations, preferably in the nonprofit or NGO sector.
Language Skills: Fluency in French (written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in English is strongly preferred for engaging with international partners and donors.
Communication Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Ability to tailor content to various audiences and platforms.
Digital Competence: Proficiency with social media management, email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), website CMS (e.g., WordPress), and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
Project Management: Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
Teamwork: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively with diverse internal teams and external stakeholders.
Legal Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work in France (EU citizenship or valid French work permit).
