Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Operator to join our construction team in Frankfurt am Main. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining asphalt paving machines used in road construction and maintenance projects. You will be tasked with laying asphalt to create smooth, durable road surfaces, ensuring the finished product meets quality and safety standards.
Your duties will include setting up and operating the paver equipment, controlling the machine’s speed and the material flow, and ensuring the proper thickness and smoothness of the asphalt layer. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance on the paver equipment and ensuring it is in optimal working condition. You will work closely with the crew leader and other construction professionals to coordinate operations and adhere to project timelines.
A key part of your role will involve monitoring environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity, to ensure the quality of the asphalt mix. Safety is paramount, and you will be required to follow strict safety protocols on site, including the proper handling of equipment and materials.
