Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Asphalt Paving Technician to join our infrastructure development team in Cologne. This role involves operating paving equipment to lay, spread, and smooth asphalt for roads, parking lots, and other surfaces. The technician will play a key role in preparing the base, monitoring material temperature, and ensuring consistent, level pavement.
Daily responsibilities include setting up and maintaining paving machines, coordinating with ground crew, managing asphalt flow, and performing minor equipment maintenance. The technician must understand different paving materials, follow job specifications, and adhere to local construction codes and safety procedures.
