A private household in Rome is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Care Technician to provide daily care and support for the family’s domestic pets. The ideal candidate will be passionate about animal welfare and capable of managing pet-related responsibilities with professionalism and attention to detail.
Key duties include feeding, grooming, and exercising pets, monitoring their health and behavior, administering medications as prescribed, cleaning living areas, and coordinating with veterinarians for check-ups or emergencies. The technician may also be responsible for maintaining pet supplies and assisting in training routines or socialization activities.
Candidates should have prior experience working with animals in a home, clinic, or shelter setting. A calm and patient approach, strong observational skills, and the ability to handle pets of various sizes and temperaments are essential. Basic knowledge of animal first aid and behavior is a plus.
This is a full-time, live-out position with a work schedule that may include weekends or holidays based on the pets’ needs. A legal employment contract and salary in accordance with Italian labor laws will be offered.
