The Bulk Goods Loader plays a key role in the movement and handling of high-volume merchandise within retail operations in Rome. This position supports store logistics by ensuring the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and transfer of bulk products to and from delivery vehicles, stockrooms, and sales floors.
Primary responsibilities include loading heavy or oversized goods using manual handling techniques or material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or trolleys. The loader verifies shipment details, checks for product damage, and ensures items are properly labeled and organized for transport or storage. Coordination with warehouse, receiving, and sales departments is essential to meet delivery schedules and inventory requirements.

Safety Awareness: Understanding of workplace safety standards and manual handling techniques. Must consistently follow safety protocols and use equipment properly.
Equipment Skills: Familiarity with basic material handling tools such as pallet jacks, trolleys, or lift-assist devices. Training or certification in equipment use is a plus.
Organization & Accuracy: Attention to detail when checking shipments, labeling products, and organizing goods for storage or transport.
