Key duties include preparing loading areas, verifying shipping documents, scanning incoming and outgoing goods, and organizing pallets or cartons for correct dispatch or storage. The Dock Loader must maintain a clean and safe dock area, adhere to all safety guidelines, and report any damaged items or discrepancies to supervisors.
Ideal candidates have experience in warehouse or retail loading operations and are physically fit to manage heavy lifting, bending, and repetitive tasks. Basic knowledge of warehouse equipment like pallet jacks or dock levelers is an advantage.
