Candidates for the Buy-Side Research Analyst role should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. A CFA qualification or progress toward certification is strongly preferred.
Applicants must have 2–4 years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, or portfolio management support, ideally within the retail or consumer goods sector. Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques (such as DCF and multiples analysis), and industry analysis is essential.
Proficiency in Bloomberg, FactSet, Excel, and data analysis tools like Python or R is required for processing market data and generating actionable insights. Solid understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and the dynamics of buy-side operations is critical.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Italian and English are necessary for preparing investment reports and presenting findings to portfolio managers and strategy teams.
