Job Description:
An Asset Management Engineer in shipbuilding is responsible for managing the life cycle of assets used in ship construction and operations. This includes overseeing the maintenance, optimization, and replacement of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance. The engineer works with production teams to plan asset management strategies and ensure that all assets are functioning efficiently.
Job Requirement:
Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
Experience in asset management or maintenance engineering, preferably in shipbuilding or manufacturing.
Knowledge of asset management systems and software (e.g., SAP).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze equipment performance data.
Ability to optimize asset utilization and extend the lifespan of equipment.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
