Job Description:
As a Building Maintenance Assistant based in Tengah, the professional will be tasked with the delivery of essential services that ensure the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of building infrastructure and related facilities. Responsibilities include routine inspection, upkeep, and maintenance of designated areas or systems such as sanitation, ventilation, plumbing, HVAC, electrical connections, or specialized cleaning tasks. This role demands hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond promptly to maintenance and service issues to minimize downtime and uphold safety standards. Collaborating with team members and supervisors, the Building Maintenance Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring environments remain compliant with regulatory guidelines and are safe for both staff and the public. Adaptability and time management are key, as tasks often vary by day and may include emergency maintenance requests, scheduled cleanings, or technical interventions. Job Requirement:
• Basic technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems
• Experience handling hazardous materials or using protective equipment
• Strong awareness of safety and hygiene practices in facility management
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to follow directions and procedures
• Ability to perform physical tasks and operate cleaning or maintenance equipment
• Minimum 4 years experience in building maintenance or cleaning services
• Experience working with facility HVAC and piping structures
• Certification in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) is an advantage
