Job Description:
We are hiring a Barcode Scanning Assistant to join our logistics team in Madrid. Your primary role will be to scan and verify product barcodes during the receiving, storage, and shipping processes. This ensures every item is correctly logged into the inventory system and tracked across its journey through the warehouse.
You will work alongside inventory clerks and pickers to ensure items are properly matched with digital records. In addition to scanning, you'll help with basic sorting tasks and notify supervisors of scanning errors or damaged items.
Your accuracy and speed will directly contribute to real-time inventory updates and efficient shipping processes.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must be familiar with using handheld barcode scanners or similar devices. A basic understanding of inventory software or warehouse tracking systems is preferred.
You should have strong attention to detail, the ability to stay focused in a repetitive task environment, and good hand-eye coordination. Training will be provided for company-specific systems, but punctuality and reliability are essential.
