Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Agricultural Advisor to support farming businesses in Sheffield and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance to farmers and agricultural enterprises to help improve productivity, sustainability, and profitability within the sector.

Key responsibilities include offering advice on crop and livestock management, soil health, pest control, and sustainable farming practices. The role also involves analyzing agricultural data, preparing reports, and recommending new technologies or methods that align with UK environmental regulations and market trends.

The Agricultural Advisor will work closely with farmers, agribusinesses, and government bodies, delivering workshops, site visits, and written assessments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong scientific background, and a practical understanding of modern agricultural challenges and solutions.

A degree in agriculture, environmental science, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant field experience. Knowledge of current UK agricultural policy, CAP reform, and environmental stewardship schemes is highly desirable.
