We are hiring an Aviation Electrical Systems Engineer to join our aircraft engineering division in Perth. This role is responsible for designing, testing, maintaining, and upgrading electrical and electronic systems used in commercial aircraft. The engineer will work on both new aircraft development projects and ongoing maintenance and improvement of in-service aircraft systems.
Key duties include creating and reviewing electrical schematics, developing wiring diagrams, integrating avionics systems, and troubleshooting electrical malfunctions. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and maintenance crews to ensure system functionality and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities also involve supporting flight test programs, analyzing system performance, and preparing detailed engineering documentation and technical reports.
This role requires frequent interaction with manufacturing and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues on-site and ensure the reliability and safety of aircraft electrical systems. The engineer will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, safety audits, and quality assurance processes across the electrical system lifecycle.
This is a full-time, office and field-based position suitable for candidates with a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and safety-critical environment.
