Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Arborist to join our team in Cologne, Germany, within the Agriculture & Fisheries industry. The Arborist will be responsible for the care, maintenance, and management of trees in both urban and rural landscapes, ensuring the health, safety, and aesthetic value of tree populations.
Key responsibilities include assessing tree health, diagnosing diseases or pest infestations, pruning, tree removal, and implementing treatment plans to promote tree vitality. The Arborist will also be responsible for operating specialized equipment such as chainsaws, climbing gear, and aerial lifts, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
This role requires regular site visits, interaction with landowners or local authorities, and thorough documentation of work conducted. The Arborist must also provide expert advice on planting, soil improvement, and long-term tree care strategies.
Qualifications: Degree or certification in Arboriculture, Horticulture, or a related field, with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in tree care and maintenance.
