Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cash Flow Manager to join our finance team in Cologne. In this role, you will oversee the monitoring, forecasting, and optimization of the company’s cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and strategic initiatives. You will collaborate closely with accounting, treasury, and business units to analyze cash inflows and outflows.
Your responsibilities will include preparing cash flow forecasts, identifying funding requirements, and managing working capital efficiently. You will track daily cash balances, investigate variances, and recommend measures to improve cash management. This position requires strong coordination skills to liaise with banks, vendors, and internal teams.
You will play a crucial role in maintaining the company’s financial stability by anticipating cash needs and supporting short- and long-term financial planning. Job Requirement:
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration. A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in cash flow management, treasury, or financial planning is required. Experience in industries such as banking, insurance, or manufacturing is beneficial.
You must have strong analytical and numerical skills to interpret financial data accurately. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and cash flow forecasting tools is essential. Attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies and trends in cash movements are important.
Excellent communication skills in German and English are necessary for effective coordination with internal teams and external partners. Candidates should be organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities under deadlines.
A strong understanding of working capital management, liquidity analysis, and banking operations is required. You should demonstrate problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset.
