Job Description:

We are seeking a Casualty Underwriter to evaluate liability risks and underwrite insurance policies for individuals and organizations. You will review policy applications, analyze risk exposure, and determine coverage amounts and premium rates in line with company standards.

You will work closely with brokers, agents, and clients to tailor policies for general liability, workers’ compensation, and specialty casualty insurance. Ongoing responsibilities include portfolio performance review, risk trend analysis, and the development of underwriting strategies.

Job Requirement:

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in insurance, business, or risk management. At least 3–5 years of experience in casualty underwriting is required, with a focus on liability insurance.

Strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment are essential. You must be proficient in casualty rating tools and regulatory frameworks. A working knowledge of German liability law is crucial, and fluency in both German and English is expected.
