Job Description:

We are hiring a Fuel Station Attendant to join our operations team at a busy petrol station in Frankfurt am Main. This role involves providing excellent customer service while assisting customers with fueling their vehicles, maintaining the cleanliness of the station, and ensuring the safe handling of fuel and related materials. You will be responsible for operating fuel pumps, processing cash or card payments, and performing minor maintenance duties around the station.

Additionally, you will be expected to keep the forecourt clean, check pump functionality, stock shelves in the mini-mart (if present), and report any safety issues or suspicious activities to the supervisor. This position is ideal for someone who is customer-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working outdoors and on their feet.

If you are looking for a stable and essential service role with on-the-job training and a steady work schedule, this opportunity provides a good starting point or steady employment in a respected retail environment.

Job Requirement:

No formal education is required, but candidates should be responsible, punctual, and capable of working independently. Previous experience in retail, customer service, or petrol stations is advantageous but not mandatory. Applicants must be comfortable with handling cash and operating simple point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Strong communication skills in German or English are essential to assist customers efficiently and follow safety instructions. Physical stamina is needed to stand for long periods and perform outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions. Basic numeracy and a customer-focused mindset are also key for success in this role.

You should be alert and safety-conscious, as handling fuel requires attention to procedures and awareness of potential hazards. The role may involve working night shifts, weekends, or holidays depending on the station’s hours of operation.
