We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pig Farm Technician to join our team in Munich, Germany. As a Pig Farm Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and care of pigs on a modern, high-tech pig farm. Your primary role will involve maintaining the health, well-being, and productivity of the pigs while ensuring that the farm operates efficiently and in compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include monitoring the health of the pigs, administering medications and vaccinations, assisting with breeding programs, and managing the feeding and welfare of the livestock. You will also assist in maintaining the farm facilities, including cleaning pens, equipment, and ensuring proper waste management. Record-keeping for breeding, growth, and health status of the animals will be essential to ensure optimal production and compliance with industry standards.
