Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Small Ruminant Farm Worker to join our team at a leading agricultural farm in Cologne, Germany. The ideal candidate will assist with the daily care, management, and health of small ruminants such as sheep, goats, and other similar livestock.
Key responsibilities include feeding, watering, and providing routine health care to animals, such as monitoring their condition, administering medications, and identifying signs of illness. You will also assist in the breeding programs, ensuring the proper care of pregnant animals and their offspring. Other duties include maintaining clean and safe animal enclosures, managing pasture rotations, and ensuring the animals have access to proper shelter and exercise.
The Small Ruminant Farm Worker will help in general farm operations, including assisting with milking, wool shearing, and maintaining records of animal health, breeding, and production data. You will collaborate with farm management and other workers to maintain high standards of animal welfare and production efficiency.
