We are seeking a skilled Handcrafted Jewellery Artisan to join our artistic team in Florence, a city renowned for its rich heritage in craftsmanship and design. In this role, you will create unique, handcrafted jewellery pieces using traditional techniques combined with contemporary design aesthetics.
As a Handcrafted Jewellery Artisan, you will be responsible for the entire production process, from selecting materials and designing to crafting and finishing each piece with exceptional attention to detail. Your work will include metalworking, stone setting, engraving, and polishing to produce high-quality, bespoke jewellery that reflects artistic excellence.
The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for jewellery making and mastery of artisanal techniques such as soldering, forging, and casting. Familiarity with various metals and gemstones, along with a steady hand and creative eye, is essential.
You will collaborate closely with designers and clients to bring their visions to life while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship. Fluency in Italian is preferred, with a good command of English being an advantage. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Handcrafted Jewellery Artisan with a passion for traditional craftsmanship and innovative design. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating high-quality, bespoke jewellery pieces using artisanal techniques.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a jewellery artisan or similar role, preferably within handcrafted or bespoke jewellery production
Strong expertise in traditional jewellery-making techniques including soldering, forging, stone setting, engraving, polishing, and casting
In-depth knowledge of precious and semi-precious metals, gemstones, and materials used in jewellery creation
Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and artistic sensibility to produce intricate and flawless pieces
Ability to read and interpret design sketches and technical drawings accurately
Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in jewellery workshop environments
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with designers and clients to realize custom designs
Good communication skills in Italian are essential; English proficiency is an advantage
A portfolio demonstrating craftsmanship and artistic versatility will be highly valued
