You will transform actors and performers using prosthetics, latex, silicone, body paint, and other materials to create realistic injuries, fantastical creatures, aging effects, and other visual illusions.
As a Special Effects Makeup Artist, you will collaborate closely with directors, costume designers, and production teams to bring creative visions to life. You’ll be responsible for conceptualizing and executing detailed makeup effects that enhance storytelling and character development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in makeup artistry with specialized skills in special effects techniques, excellent creativity, and a keen eye for detail. Experience with mold-making, prosthetic application, and airbrushing is essential.

Strong understanding of anatomy, color theory, and materials science related to makeup effects
Ability to work with diverse materials and tools to create detailed and durable effects
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to meet production requirements and tight deadlines

Good communication skills in Italian; English proficiency is an advantage for international projects
Portfolio showcasing a variety of special effects makeup work is essential
