Job Description:
The Avionics Systems Engineer in Al Ahmadi is responsible for designing, testing, integrating, and maintaining the electronic systems used in aircraft. This includes navigation, communication, radar, flight control, and monitoring systems. In this high-precision role, you will work closely with aerospace engineers, software developers, and regulatory bodies to ensure that avionics systems meet stringent safety and performance standards.
Your tasks will include evaluating system requirements, creating detailed specifications, simulating designs, and validating performance through rigorous testing. You’ll also support the integration of avionics hardware and software into aircraft platforms and troubleshoot any system malfunctions or failures.
In addition to new development, you will participate in the upgrade and retrofitting of existing systems, ensuring compatibility with modern technologies and regulatory compliance. This role demands strong documentation practices and attention to airworthiness standards such as DO-178C, DO-254, and RTCA/DO-160.
