Job Description:
As an Energy Storage Systems Technician in Salmiyah, you will play a critical role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting battery-based energy storage systems (ESS), including those integrated with solar, wind, and backup power solutions. You’ll work with lithium-ion, lead-acid, and other battery chemistries in residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
You will assist in configuring inverters, battery management systems (BMS), and system monitoring tools. Your responsibilities also include ensuring safe operation of energy storage units, conducting diagnostics, replacing faulty components, and supporting site commissioning. Working alongside engineers, you’ll contribute to the efficient and sustainable operation of ESS infrastructure.
This role requires a strong understanding of power electronics, electrical safety, and renewable integration.
