As a Bacteriology Specialist in Salmiyah, you will focus on identifying, culturing, and studying bacterial species relevant to healthcare, environmental, or industrial applications. You will perform diagnostic testing, conduct resistance profiling, and contribute to infection control, vaccine research, or fermentation optimization. The role also includes preparing scientific reports, training lab personnel, and maintaining culture repositories.
Job Requirement:
A degree in bacteriology, microbiology, or a related discipline is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical, academic, or industrial bacteriology lab is necessary. Familiarity with bacterial identification techniques, molecular diagnostics, antimicrobial testing, and biosafety protocols is essential. Excellent laboratory skills, accuracy, and ability to work under regulated standards such as GLP or ISO 17025 are expected.
