Job Description:
The Biomaterials Engineer in AI Farwaniyah will design, synthesize, and evaluate materials used for medical implants, drug delivery systems, and tissue scaffolds. Responsibilities include developing biocompatible and biodegradable materials, optimizing processing techniques, characterizing mechanical and biological properties, and supporting product development for clinical applications.
Job Requirement:
A degree in biomedical engineering, materials science, or polymer chemistry is required; a master’s or PhD is preferred. At least 3–5 years of experience in biomaterials research or medical device development is expected. Candidates must have a strong foundation in polymer synthesis, material characterization (e.g., SEM, FTIR, DSC), and in vitro/in vivo testing methods. Familiarity with ISO 10993, FDA regulations, and quality system standards is important. Creativity, problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented mindset are essential.
