Job Description:
A Biomedical Equipment Specialist in Al Wakrah is responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and technical support of all biomedical equipment within healthcare facilities. This includes ensuring that medical devices and equipment are safe, functional, and compliant with health regulations. The specialist is involved in the procurement, installation, and calibration of new equipment, as well as performing troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on existing devices. They also provide training to hospital staff on the correct operation of equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain detailed records for each piece of equipment. Ensuring patient safety by preventing equipment failure is a core part of the role.
