Job Description:
The Cardiovascular Technician in Al Rayyan plays an integral role in the healthcare facility by performing diagnostic cardiovascular tests to assess heart health. This position is especially important during the transition phase as the hospital prepares to become fully operational, ensuring all cardiovascular diagnostic procedures are streamlined and aligned with medical standards.
Key responsibilities include operating specialized cardiovascular equipment, such as echocardiogram machines, stress test equipment, and Holter monitors. The technician assists physicians in diagnosing heart conditions by capturing accurate data during non-invasive procedures, such as echocardiograms, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and stress tests. They explain procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the process.
The Cardiovascular Technician is also responsible for monitoring patients during testing, ensuring their safety and well-being, and providing immediate assistance in the event of any adverse reactions. They maintain and calibrate cardiovascular equipment, ensuring that it functions properly and that all results are accurately recorded. Additionally, the technician ensures compliance with safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and proper documentation of all procedures performed.
