Job Description:
The Banquet Setup Coordinator is responsible for organizing and overseeing the physical arrangement of banquet facilities for events, meetings, and special functions at hotels and event venues in Riyadh. The role involves interpreting event plans and layout diagrams to ensure proper placement of tables, chairs, staging, and audio-visual equipment. The coordinator works closely with the banquet and event management teams to ensure that every setup meets guest expectations and complies with safety standards.
This position requires managing a team of setup staff, monitoring timelines, and troubleshooting any logistical challenges during event preparations. A strong eye for detail, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Job Requirement:

Applicants should have a good understanding of event logistics and room layout planning.
Requirements include:
• High school diploma or equivalent; training in event or hospitality management is a plus
• Minimum 2 years of experience in banquet setup or event operations
• Knowledge of event equipment, safety standards, and setup techniques
• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy furniture and equipment
• Strong organizational and team leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret floor plans and event orders
• Effective time management and communication skills
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
